Got Milk?


After getting home from school and working in clinic all freaking day, my face is not as glowing as it should be.  I have a whole Armour I must wear every time i enter clinic. Underneath the face mask, big ass protective goggles, surgical hats, and cover gowns is my little face dying of air and moisture. Naturally my facial skin becomes very dry, dehydrated, and rough. So if you are like me try using some Milk to restore the life in your skin once again. After a hard's day work, cleanse your face and grab a cotton ball dipped in milk and softly apply it all over the face and let it set for oh I don't know 15min. Once it had dried rinse yor face in warm water and apply your moisturizer &  O.M.G!!!!! your face will instantly become super soft ,glowy, and  hydrated like never  before........ur welcome lol

I extracted 8 teeth today. It was bloody and sticky though lol. Overall it went good. my Px is one of those ppl who get super nervous and like hyperventilate for any lil thang. I had to explain everything like if she was a lil kid ,but it helped her calm down. The only bad thing was that el mendigo profesor me gritaba bien gacho y me tiraba los instrumentos, because i had a hard time passing the ones he needed in time. He scared me so much gosh ni que fuera su pinche sirvienta.  Damn teacher !!! we are students why the hell intimidate us more and make us feel like shyt when we already do. Anywho as long as my Px can tell me she did not feel any pain and was happy is what mattered the most .   THE END

ugh the annoying part about treating a Px that is going to require porcelain crowns, is the laboratory work!!!!!! O.M.G , turns out my determination line on the solid model, did not come out on the distal side of the tooth. I believe it was do to inflammation  on the gum area. So the lab made me an acrylic copy of the reconstruction area to see if it seals inappropriately on the Px's tooth, and what a pain in the ass it is . If it does not seal I will have to take another impression to send to the lab. Hopefully i have luck on my side!!

ABUELITA DE BATMAN!!!! A WEBO QUE YA TE LA YOU KNOW AJAJAJ....ANYWAYS I FINALLY ACCOMPLISHED MY BIGGEST STRUGGLE YET, TAN TARA TAN ...! A DURALAY POST. MAN O MAN IT TOOK ME 2 CITAS CON ESTA PX LA QUEJONA . THANX TO THE PROFESSOR WHO BROKE THE ONE I HAD PREVIOUSLY MADE , I WAS ASKED TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. AT FIRST I WAS LIKE DANG IT !!! OVERALL THIS WAS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW MYSELF THAT I HAD THE CAPABILITY TO DO THE BEST DURALAY POST EVER. KEEP IN MIND I ONLY HAD 2 DENTAL WALL STRUCTURES BECAUSE THE WHOLE TOOTH WAS PRACTICALLY DESTROYED SO IT TOKE ME LONGER.  AFTER 100 YEARS LATER I WAS DONE AND DAMN IT IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL !!!! HELL TO THE YES . EVERYONE WAS SHOCKED ON HOW MUCH RECONSTRUCTION I HAD TO DO , BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT, IT WAS THE BEST FEELING EVER. ALL I HAVE TO DO NOW IS SEND IT TO THE LAB TO HAVE IT MADE IN METAL. TY HANDS LOL

  I highly supper dupper extremely recommend this toothpaste for all ur Px's that have sensitivity on their teeth whether it's with cold water, foods, etc etc . This product is the bomb!!! I myself have problems with sensitivity and I swear this has change my life lol jk but it has help a lot ,instantly .It's like magic!!! so give it a try, your Px's won't regret you recommending it to them.

              Score . I took off a bad adapted crown for my first time . I thought it was going to be supper hard and all, but all I had to do was cut it in half with my burs and pop it out and WALA . I'm so happy I'm doing the happy feet dance as we speak lol. Now I know how to take off crowns.  Anyone out there who needs a crown changed? lol.

If u read my recent stories I mentioned that if your Px comes late to a meeting "mandalos a la fregada", and sure enough that happened to me yesterday.  So I went the whole day getting everything ready for my Px at 4pm, had the Px file nice and neat, went over with what I had to do, ate supper fast just to wait for her, etc etc . So what happens? I sat there on the chair waiting to see if i saw the image of my Px like a sad puppy waiting for the owner to come back home lol. 10 minutes passed then 15, 20 , n wabammmm 30 minutes.  I was like ,"I had it!".So I went to my locker and put everything away , and as soon as I closed my locker my Px pops out and says" I'm sorry am I goin to get in trouble". As nice as the lady is I had to tell her I couldn't see her anymore and told her to go back home until I rescheduled her again. Sooo people people !!!!!!!!! you dental students, start learning now about tolerance from the start and don't be scare to show some lil tough love, or else your Px's will take advantage of you.

Im Back..hi guys im back to blogging whew I know its been a long time but i was in intense testing for 2 whole weeks for my finals. I'm such glad this bs is over for now and i can now go relax and just concentrate in clinical work. And i will start by getting my hair did lol which is what I'm doing right now so I will let you guys no how it went !!!! wish me luck

Shout out to my people in  

omygahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! freaking shyt!!!! I understand it is barely the first times I do crowns on teeth, but man it stresses me out.  I been seeing this one Px in particular lets call her "La Quejona" , because she pretty much complains about everything.  Well let me tell you that's not my only problem here, her tooth # 46 is destroyed up the ying yang and lesion cavity has spread everywhere inside, I was so traumatized last time because I screwed up taking out the gutta perch from the wrong conduct, that i was about to crap my pants again when I saw her lol( en serio ).  

You know , I had everything planned out to locate a DuraLay post and have her out the door in no time.  Things started to look complicated: time was running out, sweat drops where  rolling down my forehead, Px's face de Ojeta was stressing me out, and for a minute I felt like just saying screw this Who wants a new Px lol.  And the only thing I was able to do in 3 hours was take off lesion cavity and take out Gutta Perch.  No Mammmes (excuse my french) I was so embarrassed, that I only got ahead that far, I basically did nothing. And right enough my Px was pissed for the same reason.I was having trouble taking out some of the Gutta Perch that was somehow stuck in the wall of the distal conduct and I could not go any further with my Piso or I would perforate. I left the building looking like a poor puppy walking alone in the rain.. tearsss 

 One of my darling Px is an expert in juice making.  I told her once that with everything I have going on in school i hardly have time to eat and one day she suprised me with this

How the heck do you tell a Px that he/she has a cancerous tumor?
These are the things no one ever teaches you @ school other than experience & courage. A 75 year old woman asked me in Spanish" OIGA DOCTORA Y SI LOS RESULTADOS DICEN QUE ES CANCER ME BOI A MORIR?" oh my god, those words where like a bunch of arrows heading straight for my heart. I mean how do you tell some one no it won't or yes it will, i mean there are no words to describe the feeling...Incase your wondering what happened here was a biopsy of growing tissue on the mandible area.. Well well well...Today was aight lol.  My very trustworthy  Px came right on time like I told her to, and got a unit to work in with no problem, she deserves a little Star. So any ways, I was doing a Restoration, on # 16, she had a lil small cavity on the mesial/interproximal , so my professor suggest i put a little metal band when I'm going to restore, Y DEJAME LES DIGO K LA TRICHE BANDITA DE METAL NO QUERIA BAJAR, Y YO DELE Y DELE DURO HASTA QUE ME RENDI. There goes my arm workout for the week lol.  It was just so hard to pull it down because of the interproximal contact it had w/ the other tooth .So I decided to call the professor for help, but like always he is all up on the chisme , 100 years later he came to my aid. He was able to bring it down and I did watch and learn his technique.  I will for sure have no problem next time . Yay For me

Hijo , no cabe dude que la verdad ooOOoOdio las guardiaqs de Urgencias.  La verdad es que estuve en mi guardia 7 malditas horas y sin chance de poder ir a mi BREAK. Creo los prisioneros son tratados mejor en la carcel que a mi en este infierno.  I just don't understand how the professer did not get the point when I told him I was starving to death and that i needed a break to get some grub or I was going to faint.  He saw i was not looking to hot and still has the guts to tell me if you r not back by 10min i will report u. In my head i was like" What the FUDGERSSSSS, he better shut up before i bitch slap you back to china or something," esque no manches eso ya es ABUSOOOOO!!!They had me working like a slave running from Px to Px grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr y los profesores BIEN GRACIAS, TU DI!!!

Bloddy Splatters

          hahahaha ok ok this might be pretty messed up but i couldn't stop starring at a girl who had blod spots all over her forhead .  I was in surgery and this one girl was extracting some molars and apparently the Px's blood that was flying out of the mouth was falling on her forehead and she had no idea.  She had her safety goggles, her hat and everything but i guess not enough coverage. Until I told her that she had blood spots on her forehead she got hysterical and started reaching out for Lysol and disinfecting wipes. Poor thing was so traumatized , pero wakatelas que horror pero me pregunto , Que no sentia ella las gotitas de sangre que le caian? i think we should start wearing this kind of protection next time

waking up in the morning got to thank God ,I don't know but today seems kind of odd...Today was a good day... literally it was so calm i had nothing to do and my Px canceled on me so by 10:30 i was free the whole day. I was able to nap ,eat a full meal, and everything.It was too good to b true that it even made me feel uncomfortable because I felt like there was something I was forgetting but this great day was much needed.
